What would your role include:

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality software products
• Write clean, efficient and well documented code that adheres to our coding standards and practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Lead & mentor junior engineers in best-in-class software engineering techniques such as clean coding, pair programming, technical debt management and leveraging cloud native solutions
• Driving continuous technical improvement through the analysis of observability metrics and user feedback
• Be up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends

Experience we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a senior (or similar level) software engineer working in an agile environment
• Deep knowledge of modern development technologies such as Node, Next.js & GraphQL
• Expert knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, API- Gateway, Event bridge & CloudFront
• Expert in test driven development practices using frameworks such as Jest, Cypress & Playwright
• Experience with monitoring & observability
• Experience building & maintaining CICD pipelines with services such as GitHub Actions
• Experience mentoring a diverse group of engineers
• High proficiency in English in both written and verbal form

And it would be awesome if you have...

• Experience building & maintaining event-driven architectures
• Experience managing groups of microservices
